Easy Find Set-Up (Amended Instructions)
Due to the recent channel changes by the satellite broadcaster, some channels may be missing or showing as no signal. The following amended instructions include further Set-Up details and how to add / move or delete extra TV channels.
Fit the Easyfind LNB centrally into the LNB holder, the LNB can
be fitted so that the arrow is at 12 O’Clock.
However for optimum reception in weaker signal areas the LNB can 
be rotated slightly clockwise (Whilst viewing it facing the dish) to
Approx 25 to 7 on the clock face (20 degrees) as shown.
Once the dish has been placed in approximately the right alignment
connect the cable from the dish to the rear of the receiver marked “LNB IN“.
Connect Scart Lead to receiver and TV
Switch the receiver on and Press OK (On the receiver remote)
Select Easy Find Digital (V-) press several times until Easy Find is shown at the top of the listings.
Scroll down to Astra 28.2E and Press OK
Press Info to turn on Easy Find**
The system is now ready
(The reason you press info is to light the LED on the LNB and when you are aligned you can finely tune for maximum signal, the picture will automatically come in the background when the dish is on the correct satellite)
The dish face should be approximately vertical assuming a central UK location, it will be slightly lower for Scotland and slightly higher for Southern UK, Central France etc.
The RED LED Light should flash, if this does not light up check the connections between the receiver and the satellite dish.
Move the dish left or right, when on the correct satellite the LED will burn GREEN
If it goes GREEN & AMBER / RED Flashing then you are on the wrong satellite.
It will only burn steady GREEN when you are on the satellite selected in the Easy Find menu.
Once the dish has been aligned press exit.
Important
Press “LIST” then keep pressing V+ until Astra 28.2E is shown at the top of the listings with a full UK channel list shown below. This takes you away from the Easy Find satellite line up where the UK TV channels can now be viewed.
You should find approx 150 UK TV channels and in excess of 50 Radio channels.
Adding Extra Channels (Updating the software)
Due to broadcasters changing channel frequencies a re-tune may be required, if there are any free channels missing or some are showing as no signal carry out the following.
NB: The satellite dish must be pointed at the ASTRA 28.2E satellite before commencing.
Press MENU select ENGLISH language
Go to picture of satellite dish INSTALLATION, press OK and go to AUTOSCAN
The screen should show:
Satellite ASTRA 28.2E
Scan Mode FREE
Scan Channel TV & RADIO
Select SEARCH and press OK
Wait for 10 - 15 minutes whilst a full search is being carried out, once completed keep pressing EXIT until back to normal viewing.
The newly found channels will be added at the end of the previous channel line up, to move or delete any channels for personal preference see below.

Press OK, select channel then press MOVE (2), use channel up or down buttons to select the desired location, press OK and save.
Deleting Unwanted Channels
Press OK, select channel, press 5 (EDIT), enter password “0000” , press 1 (DELETE), press OK, OK
Locating other Satellites
The Easy Find can also be used to locate many other European satellite broadcasters (German, Spanish, Italian etc) the most popular ones being ASTRA 19.2E and HOTBIRD 13E. The instructions are the same for other satellites.
**Depending on software version some receivers will require pressing “1” or the RED button to activate the Easy Find LNB.
